Leading Midlands law firm Cartwright King has made another addition to their expanding team.
Aurelia Butler joins Cartwright King to assist with cases across various departments but will mainly be focusing on professional discipline work. She will be handling cases across the East and West Midlands.
The professional discipline team represent professional individuals within organisations who are being investigated or disciplined for breaches of regulations or legislation by their respective regulatory or disciplinary body, or face criminal allegations which will directly impact on their employment.
Since studying at the College of Law in London and Birmingham, Aurelia began her training contract with a Birmingham firm who specialised in fraud work. She has now transferred her training contract to Cartwright King to continue her training.
Aurelia said “I am excited to be joining a progressive firm such as Cartwright King. They are recognised nationally as leaders in their fields and I am sure I can learn a lot from my new colleagues. I look forward to getting experience across the different departments and I hope to soon gain my police station accreditation so I can advise my clients at interview stage.”
Michael Thurston said “It is great to have Aurelia as part of our team. As a firm, we believe in investing in trainees as they are our future. Our professional discipline department handles challenging cases and this will be great experience for her to progress her career.”
