“A team of twelve female lawyers from the firm have taken part in a 5k race at the new Leicester Tigers stadium in aid of LOROS (Leicestershire and Rutland organisation for the relief of suffering).
The race was part of a ladies day held at the stadium and there were various races taking place throughout the day, along with other entertainment for families. Our team ran wearing branded baseball caps to stand out from the crowd.
Imogen Cox, a director of Cartwright King said “As a firm, we try to support LOROS as much as possible within our fundraising activities. I know the money goes towards such a good cause and we hope to raise as much as possible.”
LOROS is a specialist centre providing skilled nursing and medical care and support to adult patients and their families. They rely on donations to keep their 31 bed in-patient centre going.
