  Date: 11th March 2010

Four young solicitors from Cartwright King have recently taken part in a national two hour aerobathon to raise over £250 for the NSPCC.

Laura Pinkney, Naomi De Silva, Sanchia Wheeler and Rachel Harvey are all members of the Nottinghamshire Junior Lawyers Division (NJLD), a division of the Law Society which represents student members of the Society enrolled through the Solicitors Regulation Authority.

Laura said “We were certainly put through our paces! I thought it would be easier than it was but it was rewarding to find out we had raised over £250 for NSPCC, which is such a worthwhile cause. “

The ladies also play in a local netball league and will be involved in a charity netball tournament in April.  Cartwright King also has men’s and ladies five- a -side football teams, which compete in tournaments to raise money for local and national charities.

Michael Thurston, managing director said “I am very impressed with the sporting activities our staff get involved with.  As a firm we support charitable causes and I fully support our teams and wish them luck for their tournaments this year.”
