Leading Midlands
criminal and business defence specialists Cartwright King, who are top ranked
in the region by Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners, have appointed three new
members of staff.
Simon Clarke, who
is a very experienced barrister, has joined Cartwright King from the Chambers
of John Coffey QC of the Temple in London. Simon has an extensive
experience of serious crime and regulatory cases and will be working with the
firm’s criminal and business defence teams.
Claire Roberts, an
experienced duty solicitor joins the firm. She specialises in
general criminal work and is a welcome addition to the busy Nottingham criminal
defence team.
In addition Helen
Keegan has been appointed as a trainee in the Business Defence team. She
graduated from Sheffield University and has extensive previous work experience
both as the director of a legal recruitment agency and leading training and
development for the Sheffield Law Society.
