Leading
East Midlands criminal and business defence law firm Cartwright King,
which has offices in Nottingham, Derby, Leicester, Sheffield and
Birmingham, has again been highly rated in its specialist niche
fields in the recently published Chambers UK Guide, which
independently researches and ranks the UK’s legal profession.
Ranked
number one in the East Midlands for criminal defence, three of the
firm’s directors; Steve Gelsthorpe, Simon Chaplin and Jill Hawkins
were also praised for their individual contributions to the field.
For
business defence, Mark Wilson was recognised nationally as being one
of the key leaders in the areas of tax and fraud. Mark was also
ranked highly in the area of criminal fraud, along with Lynn Bleakley
and Andrew Brammer.
Other
areas the firm has been rated highly in are Environmental law, ranked
the second highest in the Midlands, with high ratings for Lynn
Bleakley and Andrew Brammer for their work in this area. For police
law, they have been ranked highly nationally, ahead of many of their
competitors in the Midlands.
