| Leading Midlands criminal and business defence specialists Cartwright King have promoted a number of their senior members of staff in recognition of their achievements and contributions to the firm, which is nationally recognised for the range of legal services it provides and is top ranked in both Legal 500 and Chambers UK guide.
Within the firm’s growing business defence team which spans its Nottingham, Derby, Leicester and Sheffield offices, Dan Stowers has been promoted to partner. He will take on a lead role in generating cases for the practice and helping to spearhead further growth. In addition Blake Woodfield, Mark Hopwell, Raminder Shergill and Sundeep Soor have all been promoted to senior associates and Lucie Malins has become an associate in the team.
Higher Court Advocates in the criminal defence department, Justine Robinson and Harry Bowyer have both been promoted to senior associate. Justine joined Cartwright King in 2007 and Harry joined in 2008 and both are highly regarded senior criminal defence specialists representing clients in the higher courts.
In addition immigration specialist Ghuffar Usman has been promoted to senior associate. Cartwright King’s immigration team is the leading commercial immigration team in the East Midlands and Ghuffar is nationally recognised for his expertise in this area of work.
