| We are committed to defending individuals using public funding wherever possible. The Legal Services Commission sets the rules on eligibility for Legal Aid, but we believe that everyone is entitled to a first class defence whoever is paying for it. We fight very hard to ensure our clients receive their full entitlement.
Legal Aid funding provides for:
• Free representation at the police station
• Free representation in the Magistrates Court subject to means testing
• Free representation for everyone in the Crown Court with a possible contribution order at the end of the case
and means testing in 2010.
