Leading Leicester based specialist law firm Cartwright King has been awarded a new three year contract by the Legal Services Commission (LSC) to provide Legal Aid family legal services in Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. They will be advising clients on matters relating to divorce and separation as well as on childcare issues.
Cartwright King is well recognised as a specialist in family law, being a member of the Law Society's family and childcare panels as well as a member of Resolution, a national organisation of family lawyers committed to non-confrontational divorce, seperation and other family problems. These credentials have played a key role in the firm being awarded this contract which is significantly larger than the one previously held by Cartwright King in Leicester. This firm has also now been awarded similar contracts in Nottingham and Derby.
Cartwright King launched a family department in 2010 following its merger with Leicester law firm Jerman Hollingsworth & Co and has since substantially expanded its team of family law specialists.
